PRESIDENT
Ar. Catherine Loke
CATHERINE LOKE obtained her Bachelor of Planning & Design and Bachelor of Architecture (Hons) from the University of Melbourne and is a Partner in Lander Loke Architects. She was the First Vice-President of the Singapore Institute of Architects from 2018 to 2020, and currently serves as a Member of the Board of Architects Singapore. She is also a Certified Permaculture Designer.
As an educator, Catherine teaches architectural practice at the National University of Singapore and Sustainability & Systems Thinking at Temasek Polytechnic.
Catherine has a deep interest in the socio-economic aspects of sustainability and what motivates human behaviour, and is known for her thought-provoking talks. She is regularly invited to speak on subjects ranging from architecture, building contracts and Building Information Modelling to sustainability, urban farming and economics.
In recognition of her contribution to the industry, she was awarded the Women of the Built Environment Award at the RICS Awards 2020 Southeast Asia.

Ar. Kuan Chee Yung
KUAN CHEE YUNG is Managing Partner, Consulus Consulting. He was the Managing Director of CPG Signature Pte Ltd and Project Director of CPG Consultants Pte Ltd and has served as Council Member of the Singapore Institute of Architects from 2012 to 2019. He won the BCA-SGBC Green Architect of the Year Award 2017.
His projects like Solaris@OneNorth received Green Good Design Awards 2010, BCA Green Mark Awards 2010 (Platinum), SIA Architectural Design Awards 2011 (Honourable Mention), PAM Awards 2011 (Gold), CTBUH 2012, RIBA International Design Award 2012, LEAF Awards 2014 (Outstanding), and BCI Asia Awards 2015.
He trained in Virtual Design & Construction at Stanford University and Biosafety Laboratory Design at Harvard University.

Lee Yen-ling

LEE YEN-LING is a community environmentalist — embodying a playful combination of an advocate for community-centred approaches and as a critical interrogator of ecological-economic systems. She is currently Sustainability Coordinator at Rajah & Tann, serving as technical advisor and social proponent to bridge sustainability for legal practices and businesses.
Prior to this role, she was a research scientist for almost 16 years, spanning across virology, tropical freshwater and marine ecology. At the National University of Singapore Tropical Marine Science Institute, she became the de facto marine polychaetes specialist while working on projects involving intertidal and subtidal ecologies, habitat health and restoration.
Her national contributions include the Singapore Blue Plan 2018 and the 2024 Red Data Book List. She undertook postgraduate studies on Environmental Management (National University of Singapore, 2013-2015) during which her team’s master plan garnered the Merit award for Best Student Project at the 4th Singapore Institute of Planners’ Planning Awards 2015.
Yen-ling is a Certified Permaculture Designer (2024). Her community practice is informed through co-creation such as with the West Coast Swing Dance community in the past, and presently through local freecycling movements, food rescue and community distribution programmes, and communal food gardens.

ANIL CHANGAROTH is a Conflict Avoidance, Dispute Resolution, Restorative Justice and Online Dispute Resolution practitioner, an accredited Mediator; a Restorative Justice practitioner; an Adjudicator and Arbitrator. He is an Advocate & Solicitor of Singapore (1995), a Solicitor of England and Wales, qualified as Barrister at Law (Middle Temple of England & Wales, and holds a Master of Science in Construction Law & Arbitration, Kings College London and National University of Singapore (2006) with his first career as an Infantry Officer with the Singapore Armed Forces (1983-8). His practices spanning Asia Pacific include ChangAroth Chambers LLC and ChangAroth InterNational Consultancy.

Rachna Johri

RACHNA JOHRI holds both a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master of Education. Currently serving as the Deputy Director at Temasek Polytechnic’s Design School, she is responsible for overseeing academic planning and operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality, competitive course offerings. In addition to her management role, she actively spearheads sustainability initiatives within the Design School.
Beyond her professional duties, Rachna is one of the leaders of the team involved in the setting up of the M.a.D. Garden @Changi, and participates in holistic sustainability endeavors through The Circle of Human Sustainability.
Her diverse commitments underscore her dedication to shaping young minds and making substantial contributions to academia.
Ar. Vivien Leong

VIVIEN LEONG is a Registered Architect in Singapore and the United Kingdom, and is a Chartered Member of the Royal Institute of British Architects. With 20 years’ experience in the UK and Singapore in sectors spanning leisure, hotel, office, transportation, education, residential, mixed-use and masterplanning, she has a wealth of experience leading complex projects in both public and private sectors.
In 2015, Vivien was named one of Singapore’s 15 Great Engineers and Architects Aged 40 and Under by the Singapore Business Review.
Marko Medjeral

MARKO MEDJERAL is a Civil & Structural Engineer and social entrepreneur dedicated to transforming the built environment through “impact first” innovation. As the founder of Mediera in Singapore, he focuses on venture building for modular, sustainable and climate-resilient housing solutions across Southeast Asia. With over 15 years of experience spanning Europe and Asia, Marko’s work is driven by a deep-seated belief in circularity and the equitable distribution of technology to foster regional transformation.
A polyglot fluent in English and Chinese, Marko bridges technical engineering with a humanitarian lens, advocating for the use of bio-materials and smart building management to improve quality of life. His multidisciplinary background—ranging from master’s studies at Aalto University to hands-on work in prefabricated systems—fuels his passion for creating net-positive ecosystems. Beyond the desk, he is a dedicated musician and father, committed to building a future where sustainable development and social equity are inseparable.
